63 Tay Street Tartan Carpet

63 Tay Street is a busy, Perth City Centre Restaurant.

It is owned jointly by Scottish Chef of The Year 2013, Graeme Pallister and Parkland's Hotel owners, Scott and Penny Edwards. The restaurant is one of the city's most prestigious venues with two rosettes and a discerning clientele. Therefore, it was a key requirement that as well as being hardwearing, the flooring looked good and brought an aesthetic that was synonymous with this quality brand.

We had made a decision to renew the flooring and knew that it would be a sizable, long-term investment. At these times you have to pay special attention to quotes – cheaper isn’t always the right solution. However, Perthshire Flooring came in with a very competitive price point for a top quality carpet.

We went with the tartan look carpet which was a great fit with our contemporary Scottish menu and it looks fantastic. We moved from a wooden floor, which has always been a bit noisy underfoot and the difference is incredible! It looks warmer, more inviting and we’ve had lots of really nice comments from our regulars.

The service was excellent, the price was extremely fair and the product has been perfect for us. In fact, I’ve been so impressed they’re now kitting out my house for new floors!”

Graeme Pallister, Chef Proprietor 63 Tay Street.
